Glory to the Man above

Looking back at the previous years i played in CCU, I can see that my mentality has changed a lot. Although i still get nervous when I play, I've come to understand how each game I play not only develops my over game, but also my relationship with God. I pray to Him before the game for Him to clam myself down. I also pray God to show us way on the court. I told Him winning is good to have, but to bring out our team spirit and exemplify Him was more important. Having a win just gives me a minute of two of happiness, but winning because we know he led us through rips out a wonderful joy that never goes away.

I challenge all of you out there who love b-ball to pray to God before you play and tell Him you want to play for Him and not yourself. I'll guarantee you the experience will be a whole lot different.
